Hello gang!! Happy Thursday and Happy October!!
Attached, you will find a flyer advertising the luminary fundraising event in Tributary this year.
You can use the attached form to pre-order the luminary kits.

I have had some concern expressed to me about safety of luminaries.
If you are concerned about that, it's a simple fix.
You can pick up flameless, battery operated candles at places like Garden Ridge, I just saw them there the other night, they are around $1.00 each. I believe they are marketed to put in to pumpkins, but will work just as well used in luminaries.

This week's rezoning meeting in Tributary was very poorly attended....
For the first one, we had at least 120 people in attendance.
For this one, if there were 50 people, there were a lot.
And, probably at least a dozen of the people in attendance were at the first meeting.

For the most part, both meetings illicited the same information but both meetings had Q&A sessions and the second meeting was also attended by half of Tributary's ownership group... Nancy Rossman and Bill Cole.

Here are the facts – if you want to share your comments you need to show up at the first two meetings. If you only show up to one meeting it should be the October 17 meeting. The importance of attending both and speaking at both is this – it reinforces the message that you are presenting, and will show that this is not a one trick pony.

Tributary's Gentlemen's Club in conjunction with Tributary presents "GAME DAY" in Founder's Park Saturday September 27th. Everyone is welcome and it looks like it will be a wonderful day to have fun. The schedule looks like this;

9:00 AM – 5K Fun Run – there will be prizes for each division; (1) overall male, (2) overall female, walker, stroller with baby, roller blade/skate and walk/runner with pet.
10:15 AM – Kids Fun Run (around Founder's Park – all kids who participate will receive a medal)

The Civic Affairs Committee will hold a community meeting for Tributary residents on Sunday September 28 at 2:00 p.m., at the Village Activity Center. The meeting will afford residents the opportunity for the further exchange of questions, clarifications and ideas regarding the proposed rezoning issues.

Here's the master list of questions for the forums. Howard has done his best to make sure all questions are covered, with as little duplication as possible.

Please print a copy of the questions and bring to the meeting.
